Part Two of Your Online CCW Course
This is the live-fire qualification session for students who have completed and passed one of our online California CCW courses. California requires live-fire qualification with each firearm you intend to list on your permit. this session is where you complete it under instructor supervision.

Iron Sights Shooting Range, 618 Airport Rd, Oceanside, CA 92058.
Cost
- Qualification session: Free. It is included in your online CCW course registration.
- $23 range fee: paid directly to Iron Sights Gun Range at check-in.
- Not included: firearm rental and ammunition. Bring your own, or arrange rental and ammunition purchase directly with the range.
What to Bring
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of online CCW course completion
- Each firearm you are listing on your permit
- Ammunition for your county’s course of fire: see the CCW Application Guide for round counts
- Eye and ear protection
Duration
Approximately 1.5 hours minimum. Sessions run longer when qualifying with multiple firearms.

Prefer a Private Session? This course is also available as a private one-on-one or small-group session for students who want more flexibility, a quieter learning environment, or more personalized instruction. Private scheduling is subject to instructor and range availability.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and we understand! If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let us know at least 48 hours before your class, and we’ll be happy to offer you full credit toward a future class. Please note that the credit must be used within 60 days and can’t be transferred. Thank you for your understanding!

Do I need to complete anything before booking?
Yes. You must have passed the online CCW course (initial or renewal) before attending your live-fire qualification. Bring your course completion confirmation.
What does it cost?
The qualification session itself is free. It is included in your online CCW course registration. Iron Sights Gun Range charges a $23 range fee, paid directly to the range when you arrive.
Is firearm rental or ammunition included?
No. Bring each firearm you are qualifying with and enough ammunition for your county’s course of fire. Rentals and ammunition may be available for purchase directly from Iron Sights.
How long does the session take?
Plan on a minimum of about 1.5 hours. The session runs longer for each additional firearm you qualify with, since you complete the course of fire with every firearm listed on your permit.
